Won my 1st cap. 3rd SINGLES. ALmost fainted. line up was 1st & 2nd singles(respectively) : Nic Teng, Shuo Li. 1st doubles: darren,timtanlt. 2nd doubles: han shen, nic tan. man i was dam nervous. paiseh to say this but i lost 9-1. dam shit. many unforced errors. and those stupid cat high umpires. i coula lost 9-4. cos there were 3 sudden death when they overruled saying the ball is out when it was dam obviously in. even linesmen( ah teng and yexun/yehan dunno which 1) said so. then they kept overruling. nincompoops. sea gherkin. pighead. and i honestly felt i coulda beaten dat guy. i was hitting pretty well in the warmup then sigh dunno la... i was a bundle of nerves ( as said by coach) if not i would have won. sigh...but wad to do? and nic tan is playing pretty well. and so's han shen =). sigh...i feel that i let a lot of ppl down...especially myself. but i wasnt blamed for losing la cos i din really train in singles. i was applauded by the whole team actually( though i dun think i really deserved it) for fighting to the very end, bravery to go out there and challenge the fella and the nv say die attitude. dunno la. we got a match left against st patrick's. will i play? dunno. probably not. after how i played today. thx to those who have shown faith(esp han shen) that i will play. but i think i disappointed everyone with the very 1 chance i had. sigh...
