Hi all. Shall write this post in compo form. Monday morning brought the 1st truly crisp air of the whole week.The sun was out early and hung lazily in the azure sky.Iridescent dewdrops could be found on every verdant grass patch as i woke up this morning. Getting changed, i went to catch my bus to school for tennis training.I was really inconsistent, kept hitting the balls into the net.Coach said everyone was off form probably due to us not playing for a while due to exams.Arrr 4get it not continueing in compo form-too hard :). Well anyway despite being off form, Nick.T and i were promoted to join in Wed training which=Core team.YAY! So the only non-core in sec 1 is Wah Jiang.
Oh and if any 1G ppl wondering who MUG and NAIL are, their real names are Marc(Not as you know what as Mark Tern) and Niel(not sure if i spelled it right). Chess pros ok and their twins too at NUS High. A teacher once mispronounced their names and it became MUG and NAIL lor.Simple.Juz like MUTTON.LOL
Lastly, i think i scrapping this last section cos xian too go look for interesting stuff specifically for this blog.

EOYA sucked. The 'trainers' didn't turn up.Ended up walking down to the coffee shop at East Coast and juz slacking there.So we ended up waiting there for like nearly 2hrs for the 'trainers' to come.Haiz.Wasted i think more than 2hrs there(+travelling time etc). Well at least we had some time to play soccer =D. Then ltr the trainers finally came and they said a whole lot of nonsense about what your school has train you well cos u nv lost patience blah blah blah. Thought it was nth but to cover up for their 'screw up'. Then they say they will give a replacement FOC. Come on man ppl so free meh?
Anyw, something more positive happened today when i got back my report book.7th in class.msg 1.5. =D.Here are the grades for each subj: Eng A1 Chi A2 Maths A1 Lit A1 IH A1 IS B4 Sci A1 Malay A1
Darn the IS... pull me down man. Anyw i'm quite happy la and congrats to Yu Quan and Sze Yuan for getting msg 1.0 and topping their class.Congrats to Jason for beating KK and getting second with msg 1.14 and same to Nicholas Kee. Oh and congrats to Paxton too msg 1.14. but the sad thing is that my class is at the bottom of the level :(. Class MSG is 2.4. ;( Well 1G ppl work harder next year!

The Level Day thing was erm... in my opinion, quite a bit of a failure.Here are the reasons why: 1) Games were boring---All that type of dress up games etc. 2) Too large a grp to work together to play those games 3) Even the councillors seemed bored(failed to ENERGIZE the sec 1 level)
Nick.T constructive feedback. Well anyw, smth rather weird happened while i was on the bus home today. There was this woman, in her 60s i think, who boarded the bus, sat down then started speaking LOUDLY to the other sch students and i, saying "You students smart right, you know the meaning of God? Of Heaven soul and..." (can't remember the rest). Then she turned to the adults and said "you adults should know the meaning of God and Heaven and soul right?". Everyone was like staring at her and i was thinking "???????". Well mt stop came and i got off. Strange...

Hi ppl! Went to watch "Singapore Dreaming" at Vivo today for EOYA. Erm.. not v nice la(boring)-abt some family who like u know were biased towards their only son but not their daughter.The sons a useless bum u know, supposed to have gone to America to graduate but nv larh...Wasted the family's money(they already quite poor). It was suppose to be educational but i think the only "lesson" that i learnt was that Singaporean movies contained the 'F' word too(1st time i saw that in a Singaporean movie)! HAHA... i think that was the most memorable thing in the show; everyone was like "whoa" when there was a quarrel between the son and daughter about who would get the father's money(he struck toto $2mil b4 he died) and then the son was "F**k you".HAHA.Other then thatit was BORING. Lesson of the day:Singaporean movies can also contain the 'F' word.
Next, aft sch we were supposed to go do CIP cos we "didn't" have enough. I was thinking like "shucks lar skip training again". Well i was saved by Ms Wun(whom i e-mailed over the weekend about my CIP hours for the open house) who came and told Ms Teo CM that i had already completed my CIP hours, incl the tennis 1. Phew. Thx Ms Wun! Guess what? In the end only Jian Yi and i turned up for training cos coach was late and everyone thought he was not going and left. Actually, we were about to leave but Ms Wun told us to stay.In the end we joined B-div training and i was like RUSTY. Like 70% of the balls i hit were going out, but then again, we didn't hit that many cos it was raining and we were in gym most of the time(Nicholas you heng ar).Supre tiring k.Dunwan describe here. Super tired now but i'm still gonna play Silkroad...

Went bowling yesterday. ok lar got 106 pts but i have to say that i was very unlucky.always hit down like 8-9 pins and cannot strike...haiz but still it was fun. anyw, that t***m(in case she chances upon this) is ,aiyah dun want say lar. wlao eh she nv go check with limcc 4 our cip for the tarman jurong cip and she say like everyone in the class nv completed 10hrs, in fact i already completed lk 15 hrs i think. haiz...so we haf to lk stay back on monday to do some stupid cip with her and it clashes with training..haiz...v sad. wlao eh. So then i emailed the tennis teacher i/c to add back my 6hrs of CIP during open house for me(think she forgot). negative things aside, we r going to vivo city's cinema, or cinplex i shd say, for some eoye movie screening "Singapore Dreaming". i hope the CIP thing is cleared by Monday cos i want go for training...

Today was supppoes to be FOS(festival of sports) and i was suppose to play the soccer 1 but guess what? because of some teacher known as TEO CM, nearly my whole class(except 4 around 7) had to go do cip cos according to her, everyone did not finish 10hrs.So fun right? Well but she was wrong, VERY WRONG. i finished like 12hours already but 4 some reason, it had not been recorded yet. then we go tell her but then she was like " even if u have enough, it does not hurt to do some more so next year you do not need to do so much because some of it is done today." i mean it's like WTH? wad abt the sports?????? So then i quickly qiong then when finished what i was suppose to do(mop the new photonics lab or smth like that), quickly made my way down to field to play 4 a while. darn so i was let off at 11+ but had to go back for attendance taking at 1.30.wlao. and the rest who did not have cip were released at 12. haiz...

Went to Vivo City today. Quite big lar but just 1 small problem-cannot find any restuarants; in the end had to go back to Harbourfront for lunch after walking ard Vivo City for like 45 mins just looking for a place to eat. Darn and Vivo didn't even have a directory around so it was like impossible to really find ur way around. I didn't see any,what hui yao describes as,"dancing men in jumpsuits" giving u directions. Not all the shops were open; those that were were all expensive designer brands like GAP etc. i'l post some pics next time cos i'm using a laptop now and it doesn't have the software to transfer the pics.

Thursday, October 12, 2006 WHOOO HOOO! EXAMS ARE OVER!!!!!! When to orchard today n played LAN(Cineleisure) and shopped...Dominic 1st time play LAN and he was lk super excited n kept "jumping up n down" like some kid who was about to get new toys.LOL. LAN was fun n i got highest killer for 1 of the 4 rounds n my team, consisting of Chieh Loong, Dominic and i won all 4 of them! Wanted to buy The Click Five Cd but then a bit hesitant cos i have nv heard any other song of theirs other then "Catch your wave" so hence, decided not 2 buy. Also wanted to save up to buy Hady's, Taufik's and Jonathan's album :). Next we went to Taka n i bought a book(Alex Rider Series) and guess wad? i saw Joshua Wong( 6 jade 05') in kinokunia right after i told Hui Yao that i dun think i would meet any of my ex-classmatesas they won't come all the way to town cos it's v far for them.LOL. Nth much to blog abt already. The fact that exams r over hasn't really sunken in yet. speaking of school, i almost 4 got to u ppl reading( the non-1G ones) abt me class hobby. A fun game which i would like to call "The Door Game". People in the classroom have to lock and make sure that the victim or victims r locked outside n cannot force their way in. it sounds stupid but it's actually quite fun k. can't remember who created it larh vbut we r the 1st class who have created this game. n i think some other ProEd classes might copy us but anyway thoes reading, try playing it n try to get the whole class to play! A gd stragety is to have a few targets n get them out of the class then work 2gether to lock them out...Have fun!

i realised that this blogskin isn't v gd cos it's quite hard to read the posts..Anyway today's papers wern't as difficult as i thought it would be except for a question in the geog paper asking "How did the !Kung Bushmen adapt themselves to the environment?" or smth lk dat lar. Wasn't sure so i just put dat usual tribal stuff abt living in caves, using animal skin for making clothes, logs and leaves for building their shelter. Dunno larh but that's the only question i not v sure of. Then 4 chi compo, i wrote the ying yong wen question abt using music to teach chinese in schools n i made a reference to zhou jie lun's ting mama de hua cos he used his songs to teach listeners to listen to their moms cos they know wads best. Actually i wasn't sure wad else to write on then "ting mama de hua" kept playing in my head and i decided to write abt it.LOL. So other then dat i think today's 2 papers were quite managable but i wouldn't say it's easy cos everytime i do, i don't get a good grade. i shall just say it is manageble. 2moro's our last paper(LIT) n i dunno how to study 4 it so i shall just go n read through the jkee's ppt slides. N we're going down to orchard aft the paper 2moro. Dat's all 4 now.I'll change my blogskin aft the exams...

Tuesday, October 10, 2006 3 more papers 2 go... chi paper 1 2moro n lit on thur. 2day smth funnny happened during the hist paper timtam accidentally dropped used correction tape on the floor and Kohkt stepped on it and it got stuck to his shoe and when he walked, there was a funny sound(from the correction tape casing) n he kept turning ard to c who made the sound. then the correction tape was being dragged ard 1/4 the class without him knowing! then he finally saw it n picked it up n returned it to timtam...lol...i was laughing larh n i think timtam was too...LOL! then the ppl ard me stared at me lk i'm some madman lk dat cos they nv Kohkt..LOL.I'm still laughing at it now!HAHA. Monday, October 09, 2006 we still got lk 4 1/2 more subjects to go...2days chinese paper was quite ok except 4 1 dumb question which i did not even know wad they were asking for.LOL.Ya then i think ms tan was trying to scare us by telling us that the science paper was very hard but it wasn't v hard lar,quite manageble(i mugged v hard 4 it cos i thought v difficult :). Oh and 2day a lot of peeps wore high socks cos jeffery lim said he was going to come and check our attire(but i think he meant socks onli), but nv turn up in the end.Seriously EVERYONE wore high socks(me 2).
